FAQ's

This page answers some of the most common questions we receive about our tree services and how we work. It’s designed to give you clear, straightforward information, but every job is different, so if you have a specific question or would like advice, please feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Do I need permission to have a tree removed?

In some cases, yes. Certain trees are protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) or are located within conservation areas. We can check this for you and advise on whether permission is required before any work takes place.

How much does tree surgery cost?

The cost depends on factors such as the size of the tree, access, location, and the type of work required. We offer free, no-obligation quotations after assessing the job in person.

Are you fully insured?

Yes, we are fully insured for all tree surgery and arboricultural work. This includes public liability and employer’s liability insurance, giving you complete peace of mind while work is carried out on your property.

Can you remove dangerous or storm-damaged trees?

Yes. We safely remove damaged, unstable, or dangerous trees, including emergency call-outs where required. We assess each situation carefully to protect surrounding property and people.

What happens to the waste?

All branches, logs, and debris are removed from site unless you’d like to keep the wood for firewood or mulch. We always leave your garden tidy and dispose of waste responsibly.

Can you deal with large or difficult trees?

Yes. We specialise in safely dismantling large or awkward trees, including those with restricted access or close to houses, garages, or neighbouring properties. Each job is carefully planned to minimise disruption and avoid damage.
